Below is some of the most asked questions we get. You should know as much information as you can before hiring any company for your event. 

WHO ARE YOU?

My name is Doug.. (Dj Dougie) I have been a Dj for over 10 years now. About 7 years ago I joined with Chris (DJ V) .. 2013 We finally named our DJ company. Absolute Entertainment is co-owned by Doug and Chris. We also have a few more guys that work with us.

HOW DID YOU BECOME A DJ?



Like many 80's babies I got my start hitting record on the tape deck making mix tapes in my room. From there it was the year 1999 in Delsea High School where I start to DJ parties and such. in 1999-2000 the DJ continued on to Kutztown University where I made many many mix cds and was the DJ for many parties. After that I returned to Jersey and joined with a few radio stations and many different events. In the early 2000's I joined with an amazing promotional party team with threw some great events all across the area. Finally around 2006-2007 I joined force with Chris to start the foundation of what would become our DJ business.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN BUSINESS?
 

My first paid gig was 1999. From there I have done many parties, events, weddings, clubs, bars and more. So the answer to this question is .. about 14 years. The foundation for Absolute Entertainment has been around for about 7 years however the company official name came in 2013.

CAN YOU TELL ME MORE ABOUT YOUR COMPANY?

Absolute Entertainment official name came about in 2013 when Chris and I decided our business should have one name under the 2 of us. The foundation which our company is based on as been around for 7 years!! Chris and I co-own the company and from time to time we do have a few other Djs/Mc that work for our company.

WHAT ARE YOUR PRICES?

Why we dont have set prices. Every event is different. The price or "booking fee" is based on what type of event, location and how many hours. The is just for the basic package, If you want an add on package that would cost an additional fee. DO YOU PLAY ALL STYLES OF MUSIC?



Yes of course. We plan out your event with you so any style of music you want we can do. We also take request at the event

WHY DO YOU REQUEST TO MEET WITH US?



I request a meeting with all my clients to get to know them and they can get to know us. 

At the time of the meeting we introduce our company, tell you about us, and give you all details what your paying for and the final cost of booking fee. We also go over all the details of the event. At the time of the meeting if you choose to book our company a $50 down payment is requested to save your date. We will also sign our DJ booking contract.

DO YOU USE A CONTRACT?



Yes we use a contract to bind us into the event. This gives you the security knowing that you paid for services and we will show up and also gives our company the security knowing that we are booked for your event and saving your date and you will not cancel on us. We have been using this contract for 4 years now and never had any issues with any of our clients since and we plan to keep this good faith going!

DO YOU TRAVEL?



Yes will travel to DJ any event! We do figure in cost of travel into our booking fee
